You cannot really say this painting is depicting any one thing, everyone will see something different and that is as it should be. To me this painting is pointing to the soul, consciousness, awareness the essence of who we are before form. Whether it is depicting that effectively or not I cannot say, for no one truly can. I think if this painting causes someone to stop a moment and observe without thinking, then it will have achieved its objective of bringing some stillness to the viewer.
