'The Light On The Shore' is an abstract seascape in which the focal point is the soft, yet powerful light that flows from the center of the painting. Often, with my more distant abstract seascapes, the light is sharp and coming from high above, but here it flows directly to you from the middle, rather than up high. I have called it 'The Light On The Shore' but truly, you may see it as a deep cavern or perhaps somewhere under the sea. Ultimately, what you see is up to you and unique to you. 

Painted on a high quality cotton canvas this piece can be a focal point of any room, the colours complementing any warm interiors containing wood or minimalist colours. Finished with a semi gloss coat of varnish the paint is vibrant and full of depth. Lots of palette knife work and texture has been used to create more of a 3D effect from every angle.
