'Piercing Light III' is a vibrant and textured abstract seascape. I have returned to one of my favourite colour schemes for this piece with the textured and weathered effect also. I sometimes call these paintings 'cavescapes' but viewers often see a wide array of different things when they look at these. Some relate to the ocean, others to something completely offworld, so what you see is ultimately up to you. 

Painted on a high quality cotton canvas this piece can be a focal point of any room, the colours complementing any warm interiors containing wood or minimalist colours. Finished with a semi gloss coat of varnish the paint is vibrant and full of depth. Lots of palette knife work and texture has been used to create more of a 3D effect from every angle.
